I took a 10-second failure jingle from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and arranged it for full orchestra and choir. The final mix saw 35 musicians contributing 105 parts.

A synthwave arrangement of a Grant Kirkhope classic that dares to ask, “What if Diddy Kong Racing was horny?”

Polkalude No. 4, in E Minor

This polka take on a Chopin prelude is included on Materia Collective’s TESSERACT: An Acoustic Fez Album. It’s an adaptation of the same piece that inspired “Continuum” from Fez’s score.

Heavy Breathing 2

Something a bit different for me, “Heavy Breathing 2” is an adaptation of “Creep” from Final Fantasy X. Heavily distorted and atmospheric, the piece features…well, actual heavy breathing, as well as prepared piano.

I’m Gonna Take You For a Ride

My third and most recent piece for The Materia Collective is an improv-filled arrangement of the “Character Select” music from Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 that gives it space to be the funk jam it always wanted to be.

Slide Show, Part Deux

My second piece for Materia Collective, this is a Dixieland arrangement of Nobuo Uematsu’s “Slide Show, Part 2” for their Final Fantasy VIII album Successor.

Highwind Shambles to the Skies

This arrangement of a classic Nobuo Uematsu piece was written for Materia: Final Fantasy VII Remixed. It’s “Highwind Takes to the Skies” arranged so as to make PDQ Bach and Spike Jones proud.

PAX South 2016 Performance with The Returners!

Austin-based video game music band The Returners graciously asked me to step in and sing for them in San Antonio this year! I got to do some melodramatic cape-twirling for a performance of “Phantom of the Opera.”
